My family and I have recently moved into the Merriam park neighborhood in St. Paul. Our daughter turns 5 the last weekend of July.

Does anybody have any semi-last minute birthday party host locations they would or could recommend? Our house is kind of a disaster still, it’s a fixer upper, and the backyard is taken up by new garage construction. So we’re pretty set on just setting something up near a kids playground at a park, but with a lot of places like that already being reserved, does anyone know of any first come first serve style spots for parks that are local or close to local where we could set up a small; maybe 10-15 person gathering for a couple hours?
