It was move-out week at a private college I live by, full of rich kids who spend their money in crazy ways. Clearly a kid snuck a fishtank into the dorms and then got bored and neglected it to death. I found this tank in a box set very gently next to the dumpster, with all the supplies, a walmart bag of dumped-out live plants (that I scrambled to try and save), an almost-full bag of Fluval Stratum, a heater, a light, and a half-full bag of aquarium sand. With how everything was very gently set and bagged in the box, I feel like they were hoping someone would take it. I need to go get some more sand and a good piece of driftwood, but I was thrilled to find this and feel like it’s where it belongs now ❤️

I am now an owner of 5 shrimp tanks and I only bought one of them lol. What color shrimpy should go in this one? (In a few months, once it’s cycled and I’m sure it’s safe) I feel like maybe green or yellow because that’s the color of the dumpster, but I also don’t have any orange yet….
