non-thai minor living alone in bkk — how to buy online-only concert tickets with cash/truemoney?

hi all!!

im looking for some logistical advice regarding ticketing in thailand. im a non-thai national, currently a minor, and living independently in bkk.

im trying to buy tickets for the upcoming zara larsson concert through ttm. i've had no issue purchasing a ticket for the laufey concert a couple months back because i was able to purchase the ticket with cash at some ttm branch's counter at a cinema. however, the organizer for the zara concert explicitly stated that this sale is online-only, like there will be no physical box office or ttm counters open to pay with cash on the day of the sale.

here's my dilemma:

  1. i have the physical cash on hand for the ticket, but i don't have a thai bank account yet.
  2. i cannot use the debit card my mom had left with me because her thai sim card isn't active right now, meaning i can't receive the required OTP code at checkout. and i dont want to bother her as she's so busy with work.
  3. i was advised to use truemoney wallet by topping it up with cash at 7-Eleven.

my questions are:

  • can a non-thai minor successfully register and fully verify a truemoney wallet using just a foreign passport?
  • does ttm accept truemoney wallet QR payments directly at checkout, or will i run into issues?
  • if truemoney doesn't work well for foreign minors, are there any other secure cash-to-digital workarounds available in bkk that don't require a local bank account or a parent's OTP?

appreciate any insight or experiences from expats or locals who have dealt with this. thanks!
