Hi everyone I'm in the UK and looking to get an electric motor bike to simply travel back and forth to work corner shop runs etc rather than using the car. What options are out there? Note: I do like cafe racer style bikes
I'm unsure how many people know this as I didn't 42m. Just applied for a car loan with bank Apr was 5.7 for the amount the bank came back with 10.2 apr so I was immediately shocked. Background I have no bad credit or missed payments etc, only debt I have is mortgage.
I have a really healthy amount in bank and shares too. Anyway I rang them to find out why so high. They said it goes off your Experian report so I created an account and logged in and it it had impacts for (8) multiple credits in the last 6 months which was strange as I don't have any credit cards.
So I phoned Experian to find out what they were. Basically I moved into this house 6 years ago setup all my household bills within the same month so they all renew same yearly time same month on direct debit. So this month is has been that renewal time which involved 8 hard checks of my credit in doing so bringing my credit down from excellent to just above good.. I was shocked at this actually being organised messed up my credit and added the amount an additional 2.5k onto the total repayment of the loan I applied for.
