Together with local glass artists, we have been holding events at the Glass Art Museum for four years.

We are glass doctors who repair broken glass.

It doesn't mean it returns to its original state, but we restore the shape by grinding or gluing, or by admitting it for polishing, so it can be used or displayed again.

Today, we treated the deterioration of the wind chime string and the chipping of a glass.

The patients were happy to leave, so we were happy too.

I sent an order for glass of heart engraved with "daijoubu" (It's okay).

There were about 10 hearts, so the customer was allowed to choose their favorite one for the engraving.

"I will give it as a present to a friend who worries a lot," she wrote in her comment.

It's nice to have a friend who stays close and says "You are okay."

I received a happy email this morning from a customer letting me know that the 17 glass nudibranchs I had carefully packed and shipped to the U.S. arrived safely.

I had been worried about their safe arrival ever since I sent them off, so this news has put me in a great mood to start the day. 😊

I had expected the process to take over a month, but since I shipped them to the forwarding service's warehouse on September 28th and they arrived yesterday, it actually took only about 10 days. 😲

He plans to give these nudibranchs as gifts to his fellow divers.
He wrote, "Everyone is sure to love them," and I feel truly honored.

Even after decades have passed, I still find glass just as beautiful as I did when I was little.

Today, I finally managed to ship the nudibranchs to the United States.

I believe it has been over a month since I first received the inquiry.

I sent them to a forwarding service's warehouse; they will handle the necessary procedures and ship the package to the customer's home in the U.S.

I gave a lot of thought to how my sea slugs could withstand such a long journey.

I decided to use a packing method I don't normally employ: stuffing the containers with polyester batting to protect the creatures' antennae.

I also provided instructions on how to carefully remove the padding upon arrival.

I placed them in individual boxes, wrapped those in bubble wrap, and packed everything into a cardboard box with plenty of cushioning material.

With packaging this secure, they should be safe even if the box gets tossed around.

I truly hope they reach the customer safely.

I recently received an email—likely from someone who saw my work on Reddit—asking if I could ship a large number of these sea slugs to the United States. I initially replied, "Of course!" but after checking with the post office and courier services, I was disappointed to learn just how difficult the process is: exporting to the US is currently challenging, tariffs are high, and there are requirements like proving the product meets safety standards.

It seems the only option is to use an export agency service, which would drive up the cost for the customer; I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out if there’s any other way.

I made a candle brooch of glass.

Recently, there have been many sad disasters around the world. In Japan, where I live, large earthquakes, floods, unbelievable accidents, and fires have been occurring frequently, and I feel sad every time I watch the news.

I hope that all the people who are suffering now will soon have their smiles return.

I have an idea I want to try, and I'm happy it worked well after the experiment.

For about twenty years now, I’ve been creating pieces where I engrave favorite phrases onto small glass hearts.

Today’s phrase is "ITAINO ITAINO TONDEIKE."
I just shipped an order containing this piece to a customer.
I imagine they’re giving it as a gift to someone special.
It’s a phrase I really love.

In Japan, when a child falls and cries, their mother will rub the painful spot while saying, "Pain, pain, fly away."

It makes the pain feel like it’s gone.

I used to think it was just a superstition, but apparently, it’s actually been shown to be effective.

Besides the glass strawberry sculpture, I also make glass ink bottles and brooches 🍓

In Japan, glass pens are popular, so I made ink bottles for fans.

Manufacturers even sell strawberry-colored ink. Strawberry-colored ink is so cute, isn't it? ♥️

🍓Today, I shipped three glass strawberries.🍓

I carved out the beautiful parts of the fused glass panel and made a pendant.

The clasp is also made by carving glass, and it can be adjusted to the desired length.

I finished it with a frosted glass finish.

The copper plate was 5cm square, and it was fun to be able to print immediately.
