Under $100 bats non composite vs high end composite. All things equal (speed of pitch, launch angle, same exact sweet spot of barrell) is the $400 bat really gonna have that much more exit velocity? Seriously, like maybe 2-4% more exit velocity? 5 feet longer on a line drive to the gap?
New model. Can't decide. Will be mixed use highway vs non highway. Apparently the hybrid cvt is more robust. And the hybrid has a longer warranty on hybrid components .

For a family member medical appointment. Can my supervisor ask for a note? It would be for once a week for a few weeks, so no consecutive days.
For normal sick leave they can only ask for a note if you use sick leave for 3 consecutive days, that's my understanding. Just curious if the same applies for family sick leave.
I gave platlets 24 hours ago. Location USA. After about 15 minutes in the chair I noticed a little more pain than usual. Then the pain slowly increased and then an alarm went off. A few techs came over. About 2 inches above the needle site (the area of my lower bicep) we noticed the skin was raising. Like my bicep was getting bigger. They adjusted the return rate but it was still painful. I tried to gut it out but it was just too uncomfortable and I had to stop the donation.
Current symptoms are just some general bicep soreness.
Any speculation on what happened? Was part of the needle not in my vein?
