GLITCH bit off more than they could chew with the theatrical release, and this past month has been nothing but consequences for not being more prepared.

The two week gap between the theatrical release and the original release date sucked at first, but it was at least understandable once GLITCH revealed it was the best they could do. Everything else has been a total train wreck.

GLITCH terminating their contract with the South Korean distributor in a way that financially hurt them and claiming it was for "security reasons" when that region has no track record of leaks is not okay, and their reason just makes them look stupid now that the movie's just been leaked anyway. And them ignoring certain regions for so long, only to finally get back to them and tell them they wouldn't be able to bring it there because of certain laws is disheartening for fans living there.

Looking back, it really feels like GLITCH got too in over their head here. They probably saw the success of Markiplier's Iron Lung and assumed they could pull off a similar feat with the last episode of their most popular show, but were clearly not prepared to handle everything behind the scenes.

I just hope after this, they get their act together and plan things ahead before making decisions like this.

A LOT of people upset with this being "another SF64" seem to forget that it's been a DECADE since the last SF game. The IP isn't very well known beyond Star Fox fans, and most people only see Fox, Falco or Wolf as "that one guy from Smash Bros." Having the new game be a remake of the first in the timeline simply makes sense, even if it's already been done multiple times, as casuals can easily pick up and play it without having to worry about playing any of the previous titles. And we even get a prequel campaign focusing on what happened to James! You can't tell me that isn't cool!

The designs are a little weird, I'll admit, but I can learn to get used to them.

Let's just be grateful Star Fox finally has a chance to shine again. And who knows? Maybe if this does well, then in the future we can get an SF game set AFTER the Lylat Wars, for a change.
