Freshly Introduced to Celtic Paganism

Hello. I'm going to try and keep this short because it's really not a whole lot and I acknowledge to stay on topic. For context, I'm not new to Paganism. I've always been a Pagan in a way, I'm just new to this part of it! :)

For some time now, I've passively been considering doing a small dabble into the Celtic pantheon (?) because I'm an extremely social practictioner and love meeting and honouring new deities/gods and goddesses. But, I never went anywhere with it. Until now.

In the Present:

Maybe a few days ago, I was casually speaking to some friends about how I really want to get into this stuff but didn't know who I wanted to reach out to/worship first (of course with lots of research). No big deal, right? Just an average conversation because I'm open about my practices.

Shortly later, I suddenly encountered the name "Cernunnos". I knew of who he is because of the context I saw it in, but before that I have never heard of him nor his name — I didn't even know he exists. At first I brushed it off because it was just one instance, but ever since then even to now I keep having encounters of him in some way... One of them being deer, and elements of nature feeling more precious to me. Eventually (yesterday-today) I decided to confirm if it really is him, and got multiple "Yes". Through speaking to him and through tarot.

Moving Further:

I have done my research, the most I can manage and will continue to, but could someone please tell me more things about him that may be helpful for me? I want to stay very respectful, and he feels like a fatherly energy towards me. What's his general personality? What does he like? What does he dislike? Besides studying, how should I move further about this and with him? I'm very eager and in awe

(Anubis) Candle Offerings

I couldn't afford this today, because that brand is very expensive. But, even though of course none of you can smell it does anybody think Anubis would like this? I looked through nearly the entire candles aisle and only this one gave his vibe enough. I may end up asking him myself and going from there, and get it when I have the money to.

I got a beautiful candle for Aphrodite earlier and it feels unfair to come back empty-handed when I wanted something for Anubis too. I may just share food with him later :(

Sobek...

Haha a lot of posts from me lately. My pagan life is crazy.

(Ironically my first post here was asking about Set!!) But, I wanted to ask... To anyone that has encountered and/or worked with/worshiped Sobek: Could you tell me things about him? He popped up yesterday very glaringly obvious. I suppose because he's been here for FIVE DAYS and I'm very oblivious lol. And I have mutual interest in him as well and now call him 'Crocodile Man'.

My point here is — to keep this short — to hopefully be provided with important info about him (behavior, personality, offerings etc, even fun facts!!) so that I don't unknowingly do anything the wrong way. I have high respect for any and all gods. And I did confirm whether or not he was ok with the nickname too :)

Please, any information would work! I like to know as much as I can get from personal input

Update: Right after posting this I drove straight into an intense rainstorm lmao

Anubis/Anpu

I didn't know which flair to slap on this, but hello again Kemetic subreddit :) If anybody that reads this saw my last post here, I reached out to Set and am further increasing my relationship with him/getting more into these practices just in general.

Today, when I was asleep, Anubis suddenly interrupted my dream to essentially tell me he has supposedly been guiding me (throughout my life). As I type this my family is suddenly speaking about the topic of Death/the afterlife* LOL. But anyway, even before this and when I was younger I've felt a connection with Anubis. Both interest and a genuine connection. He feels like family to me.

A bit ago I had a small tarot session with him to confirm these things, and got very clear and understandable answers. After this session, I immediately saw someone's artwork of him on my Pinterest feed :D And AFTER that, I encountered a small all black spider that I for once wasn't afraid of. I also saw what looked like an eye in something.

Today, I also gave my first offering to him... I really hope he enjoyed it, it was a piece of a freshly-made chocolate chip cookie/cake dessert that my mother baked. I hear that he enjoys cookies a lot. Please share your thoughts!

*I am aware that Osiris is also very associated with death and related things, but this isn't meant to be confused with Osiris :)

New Here

Hello everyone, this may be a long and mouthful post. I did read the rules, but if still anything I say is for whatever reason not allowed/disrespectful please gently correct me. I want to stay respectful as possible :)

I refer to myself as a Pagan and normally don't like to get into specifics so much. I worship/work with Hellenic deities, angels, infernals and the fae. I have recently through a message been brought/lead to this pantheon. Ever since, I've been getting into it more (I was already into it since I was young, just not actually educated) now.

I have increasing interest in Set specifically, and for future reference if I ever end up contacting him would like to ask questions about him if that is okay.

Outside of any texts or stories, what is his personality like? How easy is he to get along with?

What does he like? What does he dislike?

What are good offerings to him, traditional and non traditional? (I cannot currently offer alcohol)

Are there any non traditional symbols/associations of his (color, animal, etc)? If so, what are they?

What does his energy feel like? Is it overwhelming for most or not?

I could have many more questions, but please if anyone could help me with these ones I would greatly appreciate it. I of course have read up on him myself already, but it would be amazing to hear personal experiences. And it may be poor wording but what I meant by "non traditional"/"traditional" was lesser known/out of anything myth VS commonly known/in anything myth. :)
