Newbie fire mage trying arenas but couldn't beat enemy healer in a 4vs2, looking for advice
Just for context, I'm using full tier 5.1 Scholar's set, with a regular tier 5.1 cape, 5.1 fire staff and 5.1 Eye of Secrets. The abilities I'm using are Burning Field, Flame Blast, Pyroblast, Frost shield, Energizing shield, and Focused run.
It's a 2min clip from my most recent match where we ended up fighting for a whole minute 4 vs 2 against a healer and a melee dps, and not only we couldn't beat them but by the time their whole team arrived they just crushed us in seconds, kicking us out to our base like we are nothing lol. It's been my 3rd arena match and haven't won any of them, I get constantly stomped by the enemy team even when I'm the top 1 dps of my team. In this case I ended up as top 2 damage of the whole match, my team did 50k more damage than the enemy team, but the enemy healer did 40k more healing than our healer and almost half of that healing was made to himself lmao
I literally have less than 2 days of playtime but I've been grinding pvp in yellow zones and activities like hell, and still cannot figure out how tf a healer can tank so much damage and then just heal half or more of his hp with just one ability... In any other game healers are weak and are meant to be protected by the whole team, but here it seems that the healer can just pick it's best fighter and non-stop healing them both agains a horde of enemies, I don't get it lol
I asked a friend that has more playtime than me and he said I have to understand their build (like I have to inspect the healer and read his abilities descriptions during the fight) and bring with me some equipment with abilities that knock-back or silence them, but the funny thing is that I doesn't even have a freaking rank lmao I've lost every match, how the game suppose that an Iron rank player will know how to fight these guys??? In any other game you get matched against Iron players that are as lost as you are and just play with whatever they have...
Anyways, I kinda rant a bit out of desperation lol... Any of you could tell me how to beat healers in arenas as a fire mage?
