For parents worried their baby is experiencing a speech delay

Hi parents! I wanted to share a fun activity we did with my little one at UT 🤘 They need a lot more participants, so I wanted to help them out by sharing with this community. They’re specifically looking for toddlers who might have a speech delay.

We participated in a toddler language-learning study at the UT ChiLDS Lab, and it was such a sweet experience! The visit was just one time, and my toddler got to play some fun language games. They also had the option to wear a soft, stretchy “brain cap” that helps the researchers measure brain activity while kids play — it was safe and honestly really cute. 🧠

They have weekend availability, free parking, and they offer up to $80 as a thank-you for participating.

If you’re looking for something different to do with your toddler and want to support child development research, I definitely recommend checking it out!
