Anybody else in the Riverdale AREA having issues with DoorDash drivers

If it’s just me then I don’t know where the world turned off course an absolutely no pride or quality is evident in too many businesses. I am officially done with Safeway & DoorDash after today.

It’s such a pain in the @$$ after caving and paying all the multiple per order fees in addition to the monthly subscription and tip to have a the store confirm all of your items left the store only to have your dasher not only late but missing 1/3 of the order.

I am seriously contemplating ways to form a local delivery business that will provide quality service and if you call customer service not having chickens in the background… which is what I experienced the least horrible about my experience. 🤯

Utz Recall 😳🤢

TWO Questions.

QUESTION 1: Am I missing the point? QUESTION 2: If you see this do you stop & read the LOT numbers on the bags presented or simply bypass the flavor, if not the brand altogether?

I shopped for years at the Tenleytown Safeway for years before Georgetown Day School purchased it. The staff, the quality of products, the deals, the location. All around perfect (that was 11yrs ago) I found my way to the East-West Highway that was a close second for many years in my opinion. I can pinpoint exactly when or where they went off the rails but I had my last straw with them a few weeks ago. In my silly nostalgia to brand loyalty, I’ve tried Greenbelt numerous times. Never been even mildly enthused with the experience. Used Instacart to grab a few item and in Greenbelt they expect shoppers to carry $50 with frozen items, multiple loose drinks and other miscellaneous items in their arms. I’m finally done. I wonder are there any brick & mortar stores that care about shoppers anymore.
