Advice on my WIP
I just got done hand sewing the bottom half just have to do the top and adjust. But I have a few questions.
For the nose I want it to be plushie like to boop and not hard like it is on the TPU base. Is there any tips? I thought about using 1” foam and minky over it.
Second question. To begin gluing the fur and ears down. Is it safe to apply directly to the base or will it be recommended to tape it?
And for the eyes. I have gotten felt to do like the eyelash and stuff and also minky for the tongue part. But need some advice on the lining and how to do the inside of the head.
For the backing. Do I have to make a separate part for the back my head or can I just glue straps in and have it slip over?
Also leads into this question. Best way to do the head straps? There isn’t any cuts or slits to slide them in. Also would foam be ideal around the inside? If so is the 1” foam fine enough? (Same stuff for the bucket head route).
Also I wanna add cheek floof. Would that be sewn on the sides between the face and backing like the straps perhaps?
This is my first time making a fursuit head. So any any any advise will be grateful. I been hovering YouTube a lot and watched several vids from one my makers of my older suits but it’s hard to ask a video for answers lmao
