Hello everyone,

I’m traveling to the Alps next January and I’m looking for bigger resorts with hostels or shared accommodations for just me.

I don’t want to spend too much, and I don’t care for luxury, I only want to stay in lively towns with good social aspect.

For example, in Les 3 Vallees I could only find one hostel in Orelle and another in Brides Les Baines, which doesn’t seem to be lively towns.

My idea is to move between at least two or three resorts cross country (France, Austria, Italy mainly), so any advice would be appreciated.

I am an intermediate snowboarded that can make most runs.

I’m aware of UCPA and it may be an option in France.
