I believe in the tradition of college football, rivalries and conference champions. I think the best teams should have a shot at the national title based on performance and largely wins. I don’t have any interest in expanding the playoff.
I think Kanell is mostly a dummy and a troll. But Ryen rolls right into his “well did they beat a ranked team schtick” which on the surface is sensible but is at this point couched in his bitter bias over…whatever. He also has the uncanny ability to turn a loss for a team he prefers into no big deal, but if a team he does not like wins, buckle up for some timestamps from the notepad.
So 24 teams it is. I hope Louisiana Tech goes 12-0 with two wins over high school teams, no ranked teams and beats Alabama and LSU by a combined 3 points to win the ‘28 Natty.
