This truck broke me
2300+ cartons, tho it felt like much more. this pic also doesn't capture all the pumpkins we sent up to mez and the SBA uboats on the floor. but we're a D volume iirc? it was a whole trailer and a 4 hour unload. so much Halloween that's not even set... this is the biggest truck we ever got in.
i'm basically the replen manager, in all ways except the position and title. i have no team. everyone quit due to new SM. i had all newbies on this truck, so it was very hard to direct and teach while trynna get stuff done at the same time. i'm also a quiet person so....yeah.
SM even sent a *scheduled text* saying they won't make it like 10 minutes before the shift???
and this is right after inventory, where i stickered the entire store by myself and counted all the caps, highwalls, etc... and tried to catch up on pogs at the same time.
i worked here for almost 5 years, and it was the best job i ever had. i tried hard to save the store while it was crumbling, but i'm so done. i know my SM reads this subreddit. you ruined my store, though i mighta quit from this truck anyways. replen gets shit done, but this is too much. its not even peak yet and it was trying to kill us when i was already down.
Michael's doesn't care.
Front End Clearance
what did you all do with it? i just finished resetting our front end and we have nearly 4 buggies full of clearance from the old sets, and there's no room in our clearance aisle so we used up the back of FMA for it all (individually tagging all those sticker sheets was a nightmare). also what about all the ducks that went no pog, but not clearance?
...but also can we please stop getting so much random junk that'll just end up rotting on clearance for years?? even customers are telling me this isn't a craft store anymore😭
