I've recently been on a mission to lean back into my more soft alternative self and I feel most like myself than I have in years with my clothes and black hair, but its already damaging my hair. I feel so mousey and boring with my natural colour and I don't feel like I have much of an edge, but I'm not sure if I want to deal with the maintenance and damage from doing black at home. What suits me best and is there a haircut that would help me achieve a still low maintenance but alternative edge that suits my face shape?
Edit to say i realise in a lot of the black hair photos I'm in harsh lighting with no makeup 🤦🏻♀️ I haven't taken very many as I haven't had it for long.
