I'm so happy :')

I'm so happy :')

Finally gave in and got some figurines. The one on the right was impossible to get for the longest time (unless you were willing to throw a fortune at resellers) but it finally got a western release a few days ago, so I was able to snatch one!

He's so prettyyyy 😭

Help, the feelings struck again

I'm having a time lol

Don't even know where to go with this. So I've been leaning ficto since forever and have a long history of building long-lasting connections with characters. However, never in my life have I felt more than one spark in quick succession, there's always been at least a year or two in between, if not more.

I've essentially just come to accept that two of my three platonic bonds have slowly gone dormant over the past year, and I've had a couple of F/O's at once in the past, so capacity isn't really the issue. However, I am confused af lol

My current relationship is still very new, and genuinely a soulmate type connection I've never quite felt before. I am over the moon, and our bond has already deepened so much & continues to grow. So tell me why I'm randomly feeling a random crush on some other random character after just 3-4 months? 😭😭😭

I don't do crushes 😭 He's not even my type, like at all? He's pretty much the complete opposite of both me and my love in every possible way? What?

For now, I'll just wait and ponder and see if it fades, for a couple of months at least. Not exactly looking to add another love interest to the mix, but what if it doesn't go away. This is very confusing, especially since I'm as demi as they get and very rarely develop feelings at all (I've only really had a handful of F/O's across the decades).

Similar experiences, advice and the like are all welcome. Especially if you're a soulbonder or soulbonder-adjacent and willing to share your thoughts.

Help :')

"How I see you"

Just finished working on one of those old "how I see you" moodboard template thingies. Thought it may be fun for others to try & post here if you'd like :)

Itabag 💚

Finished my first itabag a few weeks ago. I'm very proud of it and use it to store all his manga volumes, and a journal I still have to get started on :')

Have any of you made itabags or otherwise customized everyday items like this? If yes, I'd love to see what you have made.

What made you fall for them?

Just asked this question in a comment and realized that I may as well ask everyone. I love a good gush post, so if you're comfortable sharing, what qualities made you fall for your partner(s)?

Community Game: "Breaking News"

I came up with a little interactive community game we can play in the comment section. Here's how it goes:

  1. User A posts a picture of their F/O

  2. User B replies to said picture, starting with "Breaking News!" followed by some kind of funny news headline that matches the vibe of the image to some degree (random example: "Breaking News! Local woman achieves work-life balance by being bad at both").

  3. After User B has left their reply, they post their own F/O in a new comment.

  4. User C comes up with a funny news headline for User B's picture, then posts an image of their own F/O, and so on and so forth.

You may reply to multiple people if you happen to think of entertaining headlines for several entries. I just don't want anyone to get left out, so please only post your own F/O after you've left a headline for someone else first, ideally the previous comment :)

Post a picture of your F/O and I'll assign them a Pokémon!

Show me your loves and I'll reply with a picture of whatever Pokémon I think captures their essence, based on appearance & vibes, and/or personality if I know them. You can let me know how well it actually fits lol

Also, if anyone wants to assign one to Hiromi feel free :)

What's your and your F/O's MBTI type?

I enjoy taking MBTI tests periodically for fun, and pretty much always get typed as INFJ (plus, its cognitive functions make the most sense to me).

While Hiromi's underlying compassion may also hint towards INFJ, I think he's most likely INTJ due to his analytical, objective nature and fundamental focus on right vs wrong as a principle. Just seems very Te + Fi coded. Either way, both type combinations are highly compatible so I'm happy regardless.

How about you? Are your and your F/O's type generally considered compatible, or is it more of an 'opposites attract' kind of situation?

P.S. If you've never heard of MBTI, there's a number of tests to choose from online, or you can learn the Jungian cognitive functions/dynamics and come to your own conclusions. For a proper test that takes the functions into account (the most popular quiz, 16Personalities, does not), I recommend Michael Caloz. His test is highly accurate, easy to follow thanks to provided examples for each question, and he explains everything along the way in a very approachable and friendly manner.

Tell me about your dreams!

I'm sure many would agree that dreaming of your F/O is one of the best things there is. So I'm really curious if any of you have had any particularly funny, engaging, or otherwise noteworthy dream experiences you'd like to share?

I'm extremely lucky to have had a few lucid dreams with Hiromi so far. The few first happened right after I got introduced to him, which likely contributed to how quickly and intensely my feelings developed. But I think the best and funniest one happened just a few weeks ago.

After typical lucid dream shenanigans like sprouting wings and flying around, I found myself in a nice wooden cabin with my love and things quickly got romantic. But not one minute after we started kissing, MR. KRABS FROM SPONGEBOB burst through the door like "What's going on up here???" Hiromi looked at him, then me, and calmly said "It's okay, it's just a dream, we can ignore him." But of course, I still woke up lol

Would be super interested to hear about your experiences if you have any :)
