Are the 7 Deadly Sins movies canon to the main storyline ?

I know the antagonists within the movies are canon and also real. In the Holy War flashback where King and Diane go to the Holy War as Gloxinia and Droll a few Giants state there are a group of rampant demons running around calling themselves the “6 Knights of Black” killing members of Stigma. And i believe the Fairy King Dahlia was also mentioned within that flashback as well, and the Giant master craftsman Dubs created Meliodas’ sacred treasure and we can also assume he created the sacred treasures for the rest of the Sins, meaning he was already in the storyline.

But i want to know if the movies themselves are canon, not the characters
