Free idea for any cookbook-publisher members in this sub:

My dream: I’d love it if a cookbook publisher would collect the best vegetarian recipes from the year’s releases and compile them into an annual edition, a la The Best American Short Stories or other anthology series. There are so many cookbooks I love the look of but would never buy because they are at least 60% unusable to me. But there are always at least a handful of vegetarian (or veg-adaptable) recipes in each of those books. Why not repackage it into a little bonus product for the plant-based cookbook lovers? 🌱 (please be kind in the comments, even if this is a silly idea!)

Pet-friendly praia fluvial accessible by train/Uber from Lisbon?

Olá! I am looking for a quiet village or town near a river beach that is accessible by a mix of train and Uber/taxi from Lisbon— I don’t have a car, and want to explore some off-the-beaten-path parts of Portugal with my dog (hence, no buses ☹️). It would ideally be for a weekend stay.
I realize this is a tough one, but any advice is welcome! 🙏 Obrigada!

City of the Dead (or Horror Hotel) 1960 film that Evan is watching (Ep7)

Hey, all! I did some digging, and the old movie that Evan and his off-island girlfriend are watching in Episode 7 is called "City of the Dead" (alternate title "Horror Hotel") from 1960, directed by John Llewellyn Moxey. It's about an eerie New England village where a witch was burned at the stake for her unholy pact with the Devil, and now the town is cursed! (Familiar!)

It's a fun and creepy easter egg (one of the many reasons I love this show) and maybe offers clues about the history of Widow's Bay (or at least, gives us something spooky to watch while we're waiting for the next episodes to drop).

The full film is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9kPM-YErhw
Enjoy!
