Roland Garros Men's R2: N. Borges def. M. Kecmanović 3-6 6-2 6-1 6-2

Nuno Borges is back to the Round 3 of Roland Garros after last year's run!

The Portuguese #1 tentatively climbs back onto the top 50 and will face Andrey Rublev for the third time this season (lost 3-6 4-6 in Hong Kong QF and lost 4-6 6-1 1-6 in Monte Carlo R64). Overall, the h2h is fully on Rublev's side: 4-0 with only one set dropped. It is their first meeting in a Grand Slam main draw.

Evolution of position and points for the 2025/26 National League's two title candidates, York City FC and Rochdale AFC

After yesterday's crazy finish to the 2025/26 National League, where the top two teams faced each other in the final day to claim the title and the only automatic promotion spot to the English Football League, I decided to produce some graphs with the evolution of the two teams' position, points, goals scored and goal difference.

Bear in mind that these values are representative of the matches in the theoretical match day and does not account for postponed matches which took place weeks or months after their initial date.

Threads for yesterday's madness:

Rochdale [1] - 0 York City - Emmanuel Dieseruvwe 90+5': Rochdale think they've scored the winner which took them up, fans invade the pitch
Rochdale 1 - [1] York City - Josh Stones 90+13': after over 5 minutes of break to clear the pitch, York equalise and do indeed go up, their fans invade the pitch
On-pitch footage after York's equaliser
BBC Radio York Sport's extremely unbiased commentary of York's equaliser
York City are promoted
