Wrongfully HWID banned by EAC. Has anyone successfully resolved this through AAA Arbitration or Notice of Dispute?
Hi everyone. I am a Japanese high school student and using a translator to write this.
My main Apex Legends account was wrongfully banned, and subsequently, my existing sub-accounts also got auto-banned shortly after playing. I did absolutely nothing wrong, so this is clearly a false-positive HWID ban triggered by some background software conflict on my PC.
EA Help is entirely useless and keeps sending automated templates.
Because of this, I am not here to just complain. I have already finalized my formal "Notice of Dispute" under Section 15 of the EA User Agreement, signed by my parent, to initiate the official AAA arbitration process via international mail.
What I really want to ask the community is:
- Has anyone outside the US successfully forced EA to unban an account by sending a "Notice of Dispute" or pursuing AAA arbitration? If so, what was the timeline or key to success?
- Has anyone identified a specific background app (like mouse/keyboard software, antivirus, or RGB control) that causes this exact EAC false-positive loop, and did fixing it stop the auto-bans?
I want to take real action to solve this. Any specific experiences or technical insights would be highly appreciated.
