My buddy's bike got impounded. but is his 212 engine worth copping?

Yo guys, had some wild drama in the local rtiding froup today. One of my homies just had his mini impounded. Anyway, he's probabbly gonna sell the parts once he gets tghe bike back. I am eyeing his engine. It is a 212 Ghost that already has a billet rod and flywheel, plus 22 lb (or 26?) springs. I am lowkey thingking abnout buying it off hm and slapping my nibbi card on there.

24mm PWK bogging at mid throttle, help a bro out

Yo, just slap a 24mm PWK on my 212 (standard gov delete, 22lbs springs, header pipe). Accel is crisp but its bogging hard at mid throttle. Im runing a 40 pilot and 120 main right now.

When i let off, it pops like crazy...sounds cool but i know it ain't right. Any advice is appreciated.

Took the rig out for a 4-hour trail session yesterday. After years of riding hardtail frames, my back finally convinced me the full suspension isn't a luxury, it's a necessity for anything over 30 minutes of dirt.

Yo guys,

I’ve been wrenching on these small frames for a minute now, and it feels like every time I start a new build or a simple repair, I hit the same wall. Some parts are everywhere (like Predator 212 filters), but others are like chasing a ghost.

I recently spent way too much time hunting for a specific quiet muffler that actually fits a small frame like the GMB100 without losing all the torque—it’s like most sellers don’t realize we have neighbors too lol.

It got me thinking, what are the parts that drive you guys crazy?

I've been going through my build log lately and noticed most of us talk about big bore kits, exhaust, and carn swaps. Those are fun, but I think a lot od smaller, cheaper upgrades get overlooked.

For me, it was upgrading the rear suspension and swapping in better quality bearings all around. The difference in how it handles rough trails and holds speed through corners was night and day. It didn't add horsepower, but it made the bike way more usable and less tiring to ride.
