How can I help my kids build a network?

Hi all!

I've got two trans kids, both (fairly recently) out of high school. They both struggle with anxiety, ADHD and depression. I'm getting more and more worried about them both. They've been self-isolating since graduation, which has led to loneliness, bad feelings and compounding self-isolation.

I want to help each find a community. I feel like a community will help them not only with loneliness, but also the nitty-gritty stuff about being their true selves (picking cool clothes, voice training, doing makeup, etc). I have no idea where to start, though.

I'd also REALLY like to get each a trustworthy mentor of some kind. That feels even more terrifying, though. I'd hate to make things worse by pairing them up with someone who only wants to take advantage of them.

Does anyone have pointers for me? We're in the Portland, OR metro area, if that helps.

Thanks and love to all.

FREE: Three corny kegs (with a catch) - Portland, OR Metro

I've got three free cornelius kegs available to anyone in the Portland, OR metro. They were all keeping pressure this afternoon before I popped them open to clean them up. The interiors and exteriors were pressure washed and all the parts (posts, dip tubes, and caps) are accounted for.

Here's the catch: they were pulled out of a freezer that went bad. Then they sat for nearly ten years. All the rubber is contaminated with mold/mildew. It's stained and smells bad. You'll need to do some serious disinfecting to make them usable. There's a brown stain on one of the posts that looks a little like rust, but I strongly suspect it's just ancient, crystalized stout.

NO BLEACH has been used on the kegs. The steel itself is in great shape and like I said before, they were all keeping pressure before I washed them. I threw away all the old rubber seals, so you'll need a refurb kit to make the kegs functional after you've dealt with the rubber. The poppets are included, but I recommend replacing them.

I have pictures of everything, if anyone wants to see what they're working with.

Anyone interested? I'll keep this up for a couple weeks. If I don't hear from anyone, they'll likely go to a steel scrapper.

EDIT: They're all 5 gallon kegs

Where did these heat sink scratches come from?

After many years of use, my old EVGA GTX-770 started giving me trouble. After 3-5 minutes the video signal disappears and the GPU fans start spinning at max speed. Thinking it's overheating, I check the fans. Both seem good. Today I pull the heat sink off to reapply thermal paste and am confronted with... that.

Where in the world did those scratches on the heat sink plate come from???

It certainly didn't come from the q-tips I used for cleaning. The scratches are too regular. The card has never been dropped. I've also never taken it apart before today (I swear!). It looks like it was stepped on and slid an inch facedown on some concrete.

Has anyone seen a "new" heat sink in that shape before? Did I maybe get swindled with a refurb card 23 years ago (I bought it "new")? Have gremlins been mining tiny amounts of copper from my PC? I'm honestly lost and would appreciate any insight.

Do my garage finds gave any value?

I was cleaning my garage today and came across a bunch of beer I'd put away long ago - mostly Bigfoot and Deschutes' The Abyss, but also a couple Stone Vertical Epics. Almost all of it is at least 15 years old (one Bigfoot is from 2013).

I haven't been involved in the beer community for a while (had to give it up for health reasons). Am I sitting on a few hundred dollars? Or is it just a bunch of fun Christmas presents for my friends that do enjoy beer?

TIA
