crusty nose

i recently rescued a sharpei mix and his nose has been dry since the beginning but it has since gotten crustier. i plan to get him a vet check up soon but in the meantime is there anything i can do (and what is it)?

mask recommendations for wide face?

i’m looking at buying a mask but my last dive guide told me i probably need a wide faced mask and recommended tusa (but not which one specifically). does anyone have any mask recommendations and/or dive store recommendations in the philly area?
