Since I’m in college now I cannot be home all the time to be with her, and she made her newfound disdain of me known when I went home the other week. Any advice on consoling a pei in a moody teen phase lol?

We lost our older dog in June this year and our almost 13 year old Pei mix is without her bestie.
I keep fearing for her time as she is slowing down.
I want to be better so I can enjoy however long we have together instead of dwelling on the inevitable.
I love my Missy girl, she’s been my shadow but I’m scared of losing another dog.
My heart still aches from losing Bailey earlier this year, but I gotta remind myself to enjoy these days regardless.

Hi! We recently adopted this 11 year-old after his owner passed away. I don't think he's full blooded, but he's 100% the goodest boi.

It’s been a while since I posted the girls.

He passed at 8 years old in march this year. He had epilepsy his entire life but was the easiest dog I’ve ever had. I wish I could’ve done more

My 2 year old Shar Pei mix has these stripes on the inside of both her front legs, it’s not different colors rather thicker then thinner fur. At first I thought it was a botched shave job from an iv or something since she had been spayed a couple weeks prior to adopting her. I have had her for 2 months and they are still there with no change! I am mainly just curious what they are- is it a certain breed characteristic, just her unique fur pattern, scars of some sort or maybe something I should be concerned about? Google has said bruising or messed up fur from laying on it but neither are true haha.
