We lost our older dog in June this year and our almost 13 year old Pei mix is without her bestie.
I keep fearing for her time as she is slowing down.
I want to be better so I can enjoy however long we have together instead of dwelling on the inevitable.
I love my Missy girl, she’s been my shadow but I’m scared of losing another dog.
My heart still aches from losing Bailey earlier this year, but I gotta remind myself to enjoy these days regardless.

She would have been 14 today, we only lost her a couple months ago..
Missing her every second of everyday.

Missy our younger dog, smelled her older sister and just laid close to her and rested her head on her stomach. I feel like she knew and understood what had happened.
She stayed with her until we took our human kiddos as well to say goodbye at the vets.
She was 2 months shy of her 14th birthday.
Bailey will hold a special place in our family’s hearts, forever.
