Wasn’t my choice
Wife picked him up without a discussion. He was a rescue from three broken homes. Been to three trainers and not one could help him. Was trying everything I could to get rid of him. Worked with him for over two years. I would not give him up for the world.
Bonnie (10) is a keen student of entomology. Yesterday she was studying the tiny spiders we disturbed while we were clearing this bed. (Her 'hawk is having the weekend off - it'll be back soon!)
This is how I spent my day off of work today:
Hazel went full on derp mode while snuggling today. Goofy girl cracks me up.
Magpie’s First Sprinters Trial!
We just did fun runs today to see how she liked it! She had a blast and did so well!
Jamun, my little philosopher ❤️🥰😃
Concerns, lots of those. 🫡🥹😒🥰❤️
It’s a million degrees here
We are trying to make the best of it! If Happy is happy I’m happy.
Buster 😭♥️
I know I post Buster a lot, but he is my baby.
Here on the left is when I adopted him at 10, right was the other day and now 19.5 years old. I feel like I need to cry now 😭
Wait? I know I had more around here somewhere….
Where’s my chicken foot!!???
Disappeared her snack and immediately forgot.
My BB at boarding.
I’m so grateful I found a place she loves.
Joni Bologna deep in thought: “I know I’m a beautiful and perfect baby, but how can I do more? Can a baby slip the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of Dog?”
Cece desperately needs a foster in Atlanta, GA. She’s 12 years old with mobility issues and declining in the shelter😞
Cece is 12 years old and declining in Atlanta’s Fulton County Animal Shelter. There are almost 50 dogs over the humane capacity and that can cause a huge frenzy of saving dogs with deadlines. But it leaves dogs like Cece out of sight, out of mind when it comes to foster/rescue/adoption visibility.
Here is a little more about Cece:
Cece was adopted out of Fulton County Animal Services as a 1 year old dog. For more than a decade she had a home.
In May Cece was found wandering as a stray and brought back to the same shelter she was adopted from. For whatever reason the “adopters” never responded when the shelter reached out to them (multiple times).
Cece has mobility issues and for a senior dog in a concrete box.. I just need her out of there. I am not able to fospice due to my being a volunteer out of state and having own seniors dogs and cats myself.
I’ve shared Cece’s shelter link below.
