My partner and I were walking our dogs tonight (5 y/o xl bully and 8 y/o husky/heeler/pit mix) when a tiny dog (some kinda shih tzu or pekingese mix) ran up off leash and tried to attack my Noodle. Noodle was so good adopted a protective stance at my feet, backed up and tried not to engage multiple times, and then when the other dog charged, rather than fight he grabbed the little dog's collar and held on to keep him out of harm's way until the exasperated owner ran up and took his dog back, thankfully not trying to blame Noodle for the incident. I know how lucky I am to have walked away from this with my dog unharmed and without some irresponsible asshole blaming my dog just because of breed prejudice.

Only thing NOT homemade is the pitas (which I can make but it's too hot today)

Are you doing the proper health, genetic and temperament testing on both parents? Do you have a waitlist already built before you breed? Are you bringing the pups to newbie appointments at the vet? Are you doing intensive socialization and early training? Do you have the ability and facility to accept and ethically rehome any dogs that do not adjust to their buyer's home? Do you have UKC registrations? Are you listed through gooddog or a similar service? If not, you've no business breeding. American Bully is a very young breed, irresponsible reproduction will be extremely harmful especially with the stigma associated with them. There's very little chance of a bully with health or temperament issues finding a home that can work with them given the volume already in need, so if you're not actively improving the breed, what the fuck are you doing?

My Noodle makes these happy little grumbles (sounds halfway between a tiger and a pig) when he's getting ear scritches or tummy rubs, and I was just curious if they all do this because my other dog (husky cattledog mix) doesn't

For me it's his eyes and head shape that look out of place. Like he's mostly bully but with the face of some other dog. From different angles he looks like either a Rottweiler or English Mastiff, but his body and overall size screams standard bully
