Hi! My boyfriend and I will be visiting Japan in the last week of September 2026.

We already secured a VFS schedule by the first week of July 2026.

However, we came across the application information that ONLY IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS can represent both applicants.

Can we still push through with the prior scheduled application date or should we apply and book an appointment for the visa separately considering we are not legally married?
