How to get started

My husband has wanted a pc98 since he was a kid and im trying to surprise him for his birthday but i just dont know anything😢. Im currently looking on ebay for them, but is there somewhere else i should be looking? What kind of monitor am i supposed to buy for it? Ive also only emulated once many years ago and i dont remember anymore, is there a special way to do it for pc98. Thank you for your help and if theres any resources you guys recommend i would love to read them.

Is an older honda civic reliable enough to drive 10 hours straight

I am currently looking at newer, used honda civics (2023 and 2024). I am hesitant to buy older hondas from the 2010s with 100k+ miles on them because i do an ungodly amount of driving, but i would also like to save money. Would it end up costing me more money in the long run to buy a cheaper honda civic thats 10-15 years old now if im driving hours at a time. I have to buy a car this month so i can move. The newer used honda civics im looking at are around 27k but i would like to find something under 25k. Should i just buy a newer model with less mileage, or is it safe and better to get something older. I am only looking at honda civics and this is with the assumption the cars have been properly maintained and taken care of. Thank you for your help

Should i apply for an autoloan or pay for a car in cash

My husband and i are looking at a honda civic from 2024 thats 27k. We have about 40k in savings and we dont really have many bills to pay. We dont have a mortgage either. I am scared to apply for the autoloan. I got a credit card months ago and my score has still never recovered from that even though ive made all my payments before the due date. It went from 786 to 771 and i dont want another decrease from applying for a loan. If we can afford to do a cashiers check, should we do that over applying for the loan? Or is it better to just do a loan in case we need more cash on hand. And is it beneficial to have an autoloan in my credit history at all? Thank you
