Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right sub and big apologies if it's not, but I'm really after some recommendations similar to Eno/Byrne's Mea Culpa, Spiritualized's Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space, and Tranquility Bass's They Came in Peace.

In these tracks, I really love the looping samples, texture, and atmosphere. I would love to find similar things from other artists -- bonus points if they are in the last 5-10 years but I appreciate any directions. My music taste is very broad so I appreciate any recommendations that come to mind when you recognize these tracks!

Hi all, longtime lurker and occasional commenter coming out of the shadows. I'm not sure if this is the right sub, but I'm really after some recommendations similar to Eno/Byrne's Mea Culpa, Spiritualized's Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space, and Tranquility Bass's They Came in Peace.

In these tracks, I am really drawn to the looping samples, texture, and atmosphere. I would love to find similar things from other artists -- bonus points if they are in the last 5-10 years but I appreciate any directions. I love a lot on the ambient spectrum but I think my taste is extremely broad so it doesn't have to be strictly ambient (and sorry if these tracks aren't really considered ambient).
