So for some context I (22m) and my friend (22f), who I’ll call Liza for now, were helping people on the streets of our city before all this went down, problem is it wasn’t entirely legal so we ended up getting arrested by this really pompous and self centered cop who thinks he’s better then us.

We’re brought to the HQ and after a little while the chief (a real dog of a person) gives me and my friend an offer, either join the force or go to jail. Liza joined almost immediately saying she wanted to do more good, I was reluctant at first but eventually joined when Liza needed help.

Now I’m the superior officer of the cop who arrested me and Liza and now he thinks I’m trying to upstage him cause of something out of my control.
