I was lucky enough to grab a pair of Nike’s new 3D-printed shoes last week. As cool as they were, a solid black shoe just wasn’t really my style.
I decided to break out my new KixKote paints for the first time and turn them into a galaxy-inspired custom. Painting on a 3D-printed surface was definitely a challenge for an amateur like me, but that’s part of the fun—trying new techniques and pushing myself to get better.
I’m really happy with how they turned out. Always learning, always creating.

She gave me the colors she wanted and an inspiration picture, and I did my best to bring her vision to life. These aren’t necessarily my personal favorites, but custom work is about creating something the customer loves not what I would choose for myself.

I’m not sure why parts of the shoe turned yellow after painting, and honestly it bothers me a little 😂 but these were just a practice pair for my wife.
At the end of the day, she loves them… so I guess that’s all that really matters. Every pair teaches me something new, and that’s part of the process. 🍦👟

I moved off the golf course and started painting shoes as a hobby. Recently, a friend reached out and asked me to make him a custom pair of golf shoes, so I figured it was the perfect way to bring the two worlds together.

Had a friend want two pairs of shoes with an Italian theme for her upcoming trip.

She wanted a pair of shoes to wear to an event called the Fur ball. The events colors are pink and white.
