Seeking advice on how to value and sell a 1986 Peugeot 205 GTI (1.6l)
My wife has inherited a 1986 Peugeot 205 GTI (1.6l) from her late father. Sadly we don't have the time, knowledge, space, or money to be able to look after it properly, so we will need to sell it. However, we are not really sure about the best way to go about selling a car like this. Do we just put it up on Auto Trader, enter it into a car auction, or are there specific forums for people who collect these cars?
We also aren't really sure what sort of value to expect. The car runs well and recently passed its MOT, although the aesthetic appearance definitely needs some work from someone who is willing to put some time and money into it.
Any advice on how to go about valuing or selling the car would be much appreciated!
To be clear: This is not an advert to sell the car, as I know those are not permitted. I am just looking for advice on how to go about selling. If this breaks the rules I apologise in advance.
