I'm in my 40s and new to the "I probably (almost definitely) have Autism" party. It's been really helpful to finally understand why it takes so much mental effort to put things in a way that sends the right meaning to Allistics - especially for sensitive matters. Now that I know that's what's going on, I know to just ask someone else to check the message. I've asked my partner a few times "hey does this sound right / make sense", but I don't want to make them my only source of support. (Worried about being too much? Check.)
I use AI frequently for my job and am aware of the overall pros, cons, and pitfalls of using computer hallucinations for every aspect of life. Do you find it helpful? Do you worry that it's giving up too much of your control? I do worry that I'm giving a lot of information to these companies, but also they've already got access to my search history so that cat is out of the bag. Are there other things to consider or that you've noticed in your interactions with AI services?
