I made this like “pick an image and get a quote” thingy for my booksta!! lol I feel like the quotes actually do kinda say something about your inner self, and just thought it was a silly fun thing to do. Wanted to share here ☺️🤘🏻⭐️

reoccurring bartholin gland cyst… ideas for home treatment? kinda just venting as well at how ridiculous this is

hiii. I got my first cyst at 23 years old. It went away without rupturing (I DID INFORM A GYNO AT THIS TIME AND THEY SAID TO JUST LEAVE IT ALONE😭) and that was that… then about six months later it came back… and it ruptured which wasn’t actually painful it was the waiting for it to rupture. it got to the point I barely could walk / bend over / kneel etc.

I did tell my primary care doctor who told me to go to the gyno. Went to the gyno and they said it wasn’t a big problem / couldn’t feel it well post rupture… so nothing was done. 😭

I then got another bartholin gland cyst when I was 25… same side and gland. I couldn’t withstand the pain, and went to the ER for a word catheter. They told me to come back for removal in three days and I did because I couldn’t sit or drive with the catheter in. I’m not sure if it was done correctly at the ER. When the doctor looked down south… he literally said, “you poor thing.”

They gave me that day off work but said I would be fine to work the very next day even though I couldn’t sit! Like how can you do anything with the inability to sit.😭 they also almost refused to put the word catheter in to keep the cyst draining because my heart rate was 190+ and I was pretty panicked after the scalpel to the hoo ha . no I did not get prescribed any antibiotics or have the bacteria tested to see if the abscess was an infection.

I saw my primary care doctor post ER visit who did not prescribe me any medicine either, and didn’t make me any follow-up reccs to a gyno. I now just have a scar in the inner lip of my hoo ha.

I tried so many times to get help… and I literally could not find a doctor to remove / treat this properly. Since then, I’ve literally been living with the cyst (it came back as word catheter treatment isn’t that effective tbh), and now I don’t have health insurance. I’m 26. It’s currently the size of an orange probably? And not rupturing on its own. I literally have no idea what to do and I’m in so much pain. Why couldn’t anyone have just helped when I asked and saw the doctors so many times? 😭

TDLR: tried for three years to get reoccurring bartholin cyst / gland removed and treated properly. Now, I have no insurance and a cyst the size of an orange. It’s literally from where my v hole is almost to where the top is. Because it’s this gland it’s making my lips spread like crazy, my vag is basically open on the left side at all times. I just kind of want to cry because I have no insurance and this hurts like hell. And just need to vent. And see if anyone has any ideas
