Severe pain 3 days post op

I had a full hysterectomy, tubes removed, cervix removed , cystocele repair, rectocele repair and a mesh sling for my bladder on Thursday. Im 36. I stayed in the house for about 26 hours post op then came home with a catheter because I failed my voiding test. I am still in unbearable pain. Its Sunday and I've been unable to get intouch with any after hour surgeron or anything. My sister who is a nurse practitioner said to go to the ER. So that's where I'm heading. Had anyone else dealt with pain that just kept getting worse? Im unable to cope with this. I don't mean to be such a baby about it but I'm really suffering and need some help. Would someone else go to the ER if they were experiencing this? Has anyone else experienced this? This is awful.

Severe pain post surgery

Edited to update: im home now. Pain is still unbearable. On top of everything else, I think I overdid it with the Miralax (they told me to keep taking it ) so now I've been literally crapping myself. I was sent home with a catheter and I really just can't handle this much pain. The only number provided for me in my discharge papers was the urogyno office number. I left a message but they won't check it until Monday. I called the hospital operator and they just put me through to the ER. Which I don't know if uncontrolled pain plus diarrhea counts as something you should go to an ER to. But honestly I wouldn't last in the waiting room surrounded by sick people for hours while shitting myself, while attached to a catheter and being in serve pain from my abdomen, vaginal area and my butt hole. Im having a really rough time. I hope once I get through this, that it will all be worth it

I'm still in the hospital. Had surgery from 1130-3pm yesterday. I had a full hysterectomy, tubes removed, cervix removed, mesh sling for my bladder, a cystocele repair and a rectocele repair. They don't seem to be able to get my pain under control. With Oxy I'm still at a level 8. I feel severe pain in my abdominal area and a little less severe pain in the vagina and rectum region. They are delaying my pee trial (still got a pee bag) cuz of my pain. The nurses seem irritated by me and act like I shouldn't be in this much pain. I'm 36 and probably should be tougher than this. Did anyone else really struggle to get pain under control?

I know I will need to take a few months off after surgery but has anyone been able to return to heavy lifting and working out after recovery? I know I will need to ease into it. Core training and lifting for lower and upper body are a huge part of my life. I have 6 pack after 5 babies and have worked hard for it. I dont want to say good bye forever. I have a grade 2 cystocele and a grade 2 rectocele. There's day where I'm symptom free and think about not getting surgery. But they always come back and it's unbearable. I've already done 2 different rounds of multiple sessions of PT for this and it didn't help. I dont want to have to chose. I want to get this fixed and I want to be able to get back to full working out. I could really use some positive stories from fellow muscle mommies
