Cat people

sorry if this has been mentioned but I love Alice’s assumption that there will be more cat people joining her. when Ted says you’re just one person she says “for now, but there will be others, or something like that. rather than be a lone cat person she knows she can trust others and be a part of a group so she goes with “cat people” instead of cat person because she knows she won’t always be the only member.

such a beautiful way to mark her growth. obsessed with her little paws, lol

My glowing review of epic universe

I absolutely loved this park. in my opinion it blew Disneyland out of the water by a mile.

each portal is so unique and the theming is immersive.

it’s walkable - I felt like just the trek through city walk to get to US or IOA was too long and overstimulating. but at epic you just cruise right in.

celestial goodnight was gorgeous - it’s a really special show.

dark universe is awesome and I can’t wait for them to expand it. monsters unchained- are you kidding me?! freaking loved it. favorite ride of the whole trip.

we went to Nintendo world to knock out the most overstimulating section early and rope dropped mine cart madness. we did have an express pass and the standby wait seems very long for such a short ride but it’s a fun coaster and the broken track illusion was a trip.

even though I’m a harry potter fan I’m sort of over the overdoing of Harry potter at these three parks. there has to be some different IP out there somewhere. I skipped battle at ministry bc I hear it’s notorious for motion sickness and I’m sensitive but holy crap the walk through of the ministry is insane. gorgeous. detailed. gigantic. a jaw dropping moment.

isle of berk is probably the best theming - its beautiful and detailed and felt like the most complete land of all the portals. fun coaster too!

had lunch at the Atlantic and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

blue dragon on night 2, was only so so for such a high price tag but I loved the ambiance and they had a delicious mocktail and great service.

my daughter loved stardust racers and rode it twice. I skipped it bc I don’t like going upside down.

This park at night is so beautiful I cannot stand it. it really sucks there is only about 30 minutes of true night while the park is still open. I heard they are actually closing later soon instead of opening later and shifting their hours. that’s crazy to me. I am saving my money right now to come back if they ever had an after dark situation.

as a final note I am from Texas and the heat didn’t bother us but the lines for rides are almost all indoors or shaded and there is so much opportunity for very cold air conditioning. it seemed much hotter to me with less relief at US and IOA.

US was a huge disappointment to me. IOA was pretty good but very hot and overstimulating. worth it for some of the rides but I wouldn’t spend more than a day there. when we left IOA and got to epic for the first time it felt like my nervous system just took a huge sigh of relief.

hope to come back and stay at Helios !
