Next step?

Hi teachers.

Hope you're all surviving this heat wave. I'm melting over here, so fingers crossed the weather is better where you are.I've been teaching online for a few years now, and I've hit this weird phase where everything is going well. Full bookings, steady groups, reliable income. But I keep asking myself: is this it?I love teaching, but I feel like there has to be something more. I want to feel excited again when I open my laptop. I just don't know what that next step looks like yet.
That's why I'm reaching out. I'd really love to hear from teachers who have moved past the stage of just filling their schedule. Did you create a course? Start your own school? Sell teaching materials? Move into coaching? Do something I haven't even considered?
I just want real stories from real people who have been where I am and decided to try something different. Even small steps count.

Thanks for reading and stay cool out there.

Help with the post

Teacher here… I wanna try to to advertise summer classes on RedNote. I’m aware the app is designed to make these posts invisible but anyways I wanna give it a try, what do you suggest? What should i include/exclude? What hashtags to use? Any help is greatly appreciated

“You can’t create authenticity”

I have encountered this thought on instagram page of one of psychologists I follow. Actually it made me think about it more after yesterday’s day. I went to a local thrift market yesterday because I wanted to support a digital artist that I have been following. I found myself surrounded by people wearing “cool” things, having tattoos, looking definitely more noticeable compared to me which triggered me a bit… I found asking myself questions about tattoos about wearing plain basic things and somehow I started doubting myself or forcing myself to make certain decisions about my appearance… I mean, even if I wanna change something, do I really do it for myself or because of that image/impression we make… if that idea how people see us goes in front of everything else, then what’s left of us? Do we exist or does the carefully created image of us exist? DISCLAIMER: this post has no intention to offend or to tell someone “hey u r not authentic”… or to call out people wearing whatever, putting whatever on their skin… I’m simply questioning myself and trying to understand myself better. Love to everyone 🍀

Teachers on rednote

How do teachers even promote themselves on this app? My posts have no reach… I used to prepare really nice videos and there were maximum 500 views, 3,4 likes… I used hashtags, no AI in my videos, it is really nice content and it took some effort. I don’t understand the algorithm. I’m about to pay some Chinese people 800 dollars to help me set up my account… I don’t see any other solution.

Living in 1 place and being peaceful about it

I have been thinking a lot lately how a person can choose 1 place to live in for the rest of their lives… I mean, I live in this place for more than 15 years and I’m kinda tired of living here, the same corner, same people, same things, same events… do we just continue enduring because it’s difficult to move away, it’s kinda big decision or people kinda start loving the city again, finding something new to love about it.. is it actually all about us and the way we perceive it…

Novi Sad Honest Opinion?

I have been living in Novi Sad since my highschool and I feel that it has changed so much since then(obviously)… I don’t find anything amusing in Novi Sad anymore… it started to be super annoying with parking and searching for it… no big events happening, at least that I’m aware of. I mean, probably it’s also a personal thing but I literally know every single corner of it and somehow don’t even know where to spend time or what to do in the city. I’m totally aware it’s maybe how I feel, but I just wanted to ask how you spend time in Novi Sad?
