Hi-viz colorful gear
I just got my endorsement and I am looking to find gear before getting a bike. The problems I am running into are that I am a BBW/plus size and there is a lack of hi-viz colorful gear.
I will more than likely be ordering mens gear because all the "plus size" gear for women is too small. For reference my hips and bust are 54 inches.
I have been noticing that a lot of motorcycle gear is black with very little to none hi vis or light reflective markings. It does not make sense to me when it comes to visibility and heat. I do understand that black hides grease and dirt better, but that is not a sufficient reason for all the black.
I have seen companies on social media that appear to have colorful gear with light reflective patterns/decals. However, I am hesitant to purchase because I dont know if they are a legitimate business and if their gear is actually CE certified.
I am pretty sure I will probably need to get creative with some light colored gear, add in my own bright colors, and find a way to add some light reflective patterns/decals.
