Welcome New Adopters - Great in ATX
I recently switched over to Cape Mobile and wanted to share my experience so far for anyone curious about it.
Overall, I’m really enjoying the service. The setup was super easy and way smoother than I expected. Porting my number only took a couple of minutes, and I was basically done with everything within minutes. No long waiting, no confusing steps, and no issues getting activated.
One thing I really liked is that the signup felt very minimal. In the app, I didn’t have to give a bunch of personal information, just my payment info. From what I saw, if you sign up through the website, you do have to provide an email, but the app setup felt more privacy-focused and simple.
I’m using it on iPhone, and iMessage and FaceTime are both working with no problems. That was one of the things I was a little worried about before switching, but everything registered correctly and has been working like normal.
Speed has been decent so far. I wouldn’t say it’s the absolute fastest mobile service I’ve ever used, but I haven’t had any issues with the things I actually use every day. Streaming has worked fine, maps/navigation have worked fine, and regular browsing/messages/calls have all been solid.
The biggest thing for me is that the service feels simple and clean. It does what I need it to do, and the privacy-focused approach is what made me want to try it in the first place.
So far, I’m happy with the switch and I’m planning to keep using it. Switching my whole family soon.
