Top tier Flower and LR Carts

I’ll be traveling up the southeast coast for a week and am looking for some primo flower and LR carts. I have a med card. I’ve heard Skunk City is great but it’s a little further inland than I had planned on traveling. Any suggestions for the best med dispensaries that are closer to the coast? Any thoughts on Skink City (their website looked great). I’d also be happy to get some good old fashioned hash (very hard to come by in NJ, DE and Md, the states where I usually shop)

Med vs rec

Good morning all, I’ll be visiting in early September. I understand that in Maine dispensaries are medical OR recreational but they cannot be both. Is there a big difference in the quality of the products between med and rec? I assume there may be some tax savings on medical? I will be looking to purchase some flower and LR carts. I guess my final question is whether there is a distinct advantage for me if I renew my home state medical card (I understand Maine will accept out of state medical cards). Thanks in advance.

Scar massage

I just got discharged from both the surgeon and therapist. Both said that in addition to continuing exercises at home I should massage the surgical scar daily. I was wondering if there was a particular product (lotion, cream etc ) that people like or have been told to use for scar massage? Thanks

Employment drug testing

I know Delaware law says in most situations an employer cannot deny employment if a pre employment drug test is positive for THC (or whatever marijuana metabolites they test for) BUT this protection only extends (as far as I know) to people who have medical cards. Does anyone know of any legislation (even something pending approval) that would extend the provisions to those without medical cards now that recreational use has been legalized? Or does anyone know how employers are viewing tests that are positive for THC now that recreational use is legalized? Thanks all

Pre-employment drug testing—THC

One of my coworkers sons just applied for a job and was given a drug test that included THC testing. He has not yet received his results but he knows he will test positive for THC. I know DE law has a specific provision that says an employer generally may not refuse employment because they test positive for ThC if the person has a “medical card” but I don’t believe that law was amended when recreational use became legal. I review background checks and drug screens for my company’s new hires, and ever since recreational use was legalized we ignore positive tests for THC. Does anyone know if that is the common practice in DE (excluding, of course, law enforcement jobs, commercial driving jobs etc)? Thanks all

Any problem freezing these?

I bought these about 10 days ago. They’re still fully sealed in the original packaging. I just realized the “use by” date was 2 days ago. They were in the coldest part of my frig. I don’t think there is a problem, but I figured I’d get opinions from others. Thanks

Trying to figure out….

I had an ORIF for a severely comminuted distal radius fracture last Wednesday. I sustained the fracture in a hard fall while hiking a rocky trail. Now that some of the initial pain of the injury and the surgery have started to wear off I am discovering bruises and pain in various other parts of my body. These pictures are of the forearm and elbow on the same side as the radius fracture. I’m wondering if the bruising and swelling is secondary to the surgery, or, whether I might’ve also injured my elbow in the fall. Any thoughts?

5 days post ORIF for severely comminuted Colles fix

Silly me decided to rush the last quarter mile of a hike to try to beat my best time on that trail. Didn’t end well. I didn’t see a rock or root and went flying. My whole body was banged up, but the brunt was taken by my right wrist. The injury occurred on Sunday, May 9. Surgery was on Wednesday, May 13. I am doing OK managing pain with minimal meds, and have full movement of my fingers and thumb. Swelling is much better than it was in the first few days. My biggest issue is unrelenting fatigue. I am sleeping for a couple of hours at a time several times during the day, and then sleeping through the night. I’m pretty certain that the anesthesia has cleared. Is it normal to be this fatigued after the effect of anesthesia has worn off? I don’t know if it’s irrelevant, but I do have underlying rheumatoid arthritis. I am 69 years old if that also is relevant. I just found this sub and I’m really glad I did. Good luck to everyone.
