Question for those of y'all who's babies cut a lot of teeth really quickly - did they ever get a real, good break?

My little guy just turned 8 months old and his 9th tooth is gonna come through any day now (his upper left canine). He's definitely got a little swelling and discomfort towards the back of his gums but I don't think the molars are on their way out yet, I think they're just moving around and he can feel it

Anyway, he's pretty consistently been popping a new tooth out ~every 2 weeks. Sometimes shorter sometimes longer but on average. It's not like it's happy, happy, happy, TOOTH! There's obviously the discomfort leading up to the eruption

He's been teething/feeling his teeth moving around since 3.5 months (I can tell it started about then because there's almost no pictures from that time where he didn't have his hand in his mouth lol) and his first tooth came out at 5.5 months. So that's 8 teeth in such a short time frame and like I said, at least a couple of his canines are right around the corner.

I'm talking a lot but basically did anyone else's baby go through this? Did they actually get a good break before all 16 teeth were out or was your kid pretty much just on a "let's get this bull over with asap" mission?
