Trillion vendor

I’d like to buy a 2-3 carat trillion lab diamond, but none of the Chinese vendors I’ve worked with have one. Anyone have a vendor they’d recommend who may have one in stock? Ouros only has them as a custom cut, which makes me nervous.

Mental health care after car accident

My ten year old daughter and I were blindsided by a car that blew a stop sign and was speeding. The impact was directly into my door, and my daughter was seated in the rear on the side of the impact.

The other driver’s insurance, Progressive, accepted 100 percent liability for their driver. The accident happened in Tulsa, OK.

All side airbags deployed and my car is a total loss. My daughter and I declined the ambulance at the scene but were both injured and sore enough to miss work/school the next day, more for me.

My daughter needed to take ibuprofen for several days to deal with the pain, and Progressive opened injury claims on both of us.

I took her to her pediatrician a few days after the accident for an evaluation. The doctor thought she was physically ok, but when I described her mental state (crying when she had to get in a car, gasping and shouting every time another car approached, etc) the doctor referred us to a mental health therapist. She made sure to put in the referral that it was due to the accident.

Is the cost of this something we can expect Progressive to pay? I have NOT had a good experience so far with the total loss claim.

OM Gems India on Etsy - Buyer Beware

Saw a beautiful trillion diamond listed on Etsy. The listing was for a specific stone with an IGI certificate, tweezer videos, etc. The seller had over 1k reviews and a good rating, but I was a little suspicious because the variation in listing photos made me wonder if they were using other vendors’ photos. But since the listing was a specific stone with IGI, and Etsy has purchase protection, I figured I would give it a shot.

After I purchased the stone, I was messaged with three links to different shipping options and was asked to pay for shipping. I reminded him that the listing included shipping, and he said these were shipping upgrades. I decided to go for one of the upgrades and paid for that, too.

Then, he sent me a link to two trillion stones in a diamond database and said “these are the two stones we have available.” As if I purchased some general listing and should just immediately accept he doesn’t have the stone he listed and I purchased.

I clarified that he didn’t have the listed stone and asked to be refunded. He pressured me to accept one of the available stones, and I declined and asked to be refunded again. The only positive thing I can say is that after the second request, he did quickly process the refund for the stones and shipping.

I have purchased many stones and jewelry items from vendors in India, China, and the US and have never experienced something like this so wanted to share. Should have trusted my instincts regarding the suspicious product photos.

Thank you Wendy!

Just received my custom project from Wendy, and it’s absolutely perfect!! Wendy was very patient throughout the CAD process. I’m not proud to admit I went down a rabbit hole over bezel thickness 🤦🏽‍♀️. (Went with .8mm bezel for reference.) Emeralds are 4x6 on a size 5.25 finger, although I did go up a quarter size due to the wide band. Also received the group buy studs today and they are lovely! This is my third project with Wendy and all have been fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you Matthew!

I purchased one of the anniversary promo items, and it arrived today! Matthew made the process very smooth, answering questions I had prior to purchasing, verifying my address, and sending tracking info. It arrived very quickly, and the packaging was really pretty. Great first experience with Fiorese! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have a ring design that needs a one carat lozenge cut, and I’d like to use Fiorese. But I have not found any examples of the company producing this cut, and it’s not on their website, either.

Has anyone used Fiorese for a lozenge cut, or is there another vendor that might be better for this project? I see Orbion has lozenges, but they are significantly more expensive than the price Fiorese quoted. TIA!
