Just finished the show thru season six. Very compelling, sad it's over. It was my "write songs on guitar" show, so now I don't know what to do, lol.
Anyway , was Rene KGB or what? They were very coy.
Took a chance on an untested C-1 and luckily only one of the belts had melted to goo. Battery compartment shockingly pristine despite still housing the battery and did a test on the DC motor and it's working.
This was my first time cleaning up a melted belt- that's goopy stuff alright.
Anyway, in my search for appropriate belts the search engine suggested getting the random assortment of belts, wondering if any of you have sourced the correct specific belt sizes and if you wouldn't mind pointing me in a good direction or if my best bet is in fact the random dice roll.
This will be my first attempt at reviving a cassette player and if it goes OK I have a few on the back burner that will be worth sprucing up. Specificly, want to prepare myself to be confident enough for when my Tascam 4 track that I am using will eventually needs new belts.
