Best telehealth options if my job doesn't offer health insurance?
Hi everyone,
I recently started a new job after being unemployed for a long time. Unfortunately, they do not offer health insurance, and I'm trying to figure out the most affordable way to manage my healthcare.
I have ADHD and need to start getting my prescription medication. I assume I will need to be diagnosed again, because it's been years since my original diagnosis, but I'm not sure. I also use tretinoin for acne/skincare. Since I don't currently have insurance, I'm wondering if anyone has experience using telehealth services for either of these needs.
I'm looking for:
- Affordable telehealth providers
- Services that can prescribe ADHD medication
- Services that can prescribe tretinoin
- Tips for keeping medication costs down without insurance
- Things I should know ( How to ensure the provider has the ability to prescribe the medication I need before talking with them etc.)
If you've been in a similar situation, I'd appreciate hearing what worked for you and what the costs were like.
