Rowdrop: form builder that writes submissions directly into Notion databases

Built this because I kept needing to collect data from people outside my Notion workspace and every solution was either disconnected from Notion or required a bunch of automations to bridge the gap.

Rowdrop lets you connect your Notion database, pick which columns become form fields, and share a public link. Submissions go straight into your database as new rows. No Zapier needed.

Also does conditional logic, file uploads, password protection, webhooks, email notifications and has a submission viewer with CSV export built in.

Live at rowdrop.us, 7 day free trial no card needed. Would love feedback.

Rowdrop: Turn any Notion database into a shareable form. Submissions write directly to Notion.

Hey everyone,

Built a micro SaaS called Rowdrop (rowdrop.us) after running into the same problem repeatedly as a Notion user.

Core functionality: You connect your Notion database, pick which columns become form fields, and get a public shareable link. Every submission writes directly into your Notion database as a new row. No Zapier, no automations, no middleman.

Other things it does right now:

- Conditional logic so fields show or hide based on answers

- Hidden fields that read from URL params, good for tracking UTM sources

- File uploads

- Password protection, expiry dates, response caps

- Webhooks for Zapier, Make, Slack and n8n

- Email notifications to the form owner and submitter

- Submission viewer with CSV export

- Embeds on any website with an auto-resizing iframe

Built this solo, still early stage. 7 day free trial, no card needed.

Looking for feedback on the idea, the pricing, and how to reach more Notion users. Open to any thoughts.

I built a tool that turns any Notion database into a public form. Submissions go straight into your database

Been using Notion for everything for a while now and kept hitting the same wall. Whenever I needed to collect info from people outside my workspace I had no good option. Typeform and Google Forms don't talk to Notion natively and setting up Zapier for something this simple felt like overkill every single time.

So I just built my own thing. It's called Rowdrop. You paste in your Notion database ID, it pulls all your columns, you pick which ones become form fields, and you get a public link. That's basically it. Every submission shows up as a new row in your database automatically.

Some other stuff it does:

- Conditional logic so you can show or hide fields based on what someone answered

- Hidden fields that read from URL params, good for tracking where signups are coming from

- File uploads

- Password protection, expiry dates, response caps

- Webhooks if you want to pipe submissions somewhere else

- Email notifications and a submission viewer with CSV export

- Embeds in any website with an iframe that auto resizes

Still early but it works. Free trial, no card needed.

Curious if anyone else has needed to collect data from people outside their Notion workspace and what you ended up doing. Open to feedback too.
