Room temperatures

How much does room temperature matter when making mead? My husband used to brew mead, but he doesn't drink anymore so he stopped. (Health reasons, nothing serious!) But we have bees and a bunch of honey now.

He said i probably shouldn't start a batch in the summer because it does better when the indoor temperature is the mid 60s instead of the mid 70s.

Does it make much difference? I don't really want to wait months if I don't need to!

First 3d beading project, what is this style of beading called?

I followed a YouTube tutorial, (by khelga,) and it came out really well! Can anyone tell what this kind of beading is called? I'd like to try a written pattern, because once I got the hang of what they were doing in this one I kept getting ahead and behind the video. The mushroom started with the bread at the center of the cord, and i made loops of 5-6 beads that connected with each other.
