Help me pick a future spouse for my pyromaniac mermaid 👀

I got a lot of great ideas for my sim Mariana's future partner the other day. Thank you, everyone! I put them together, went into CAS, and came out with these three sims.

Nori, a gentle and kind-hearted PlantSim who's highly flammable and terrified of fire. Mariana would want to protect her… but would also probably accidentally set her on fire.

Silas, a scholar and spellcaster who wants to understand why Mariana is the way she is. He would somehow keep showing up wherever she goes, much to Mariana's annoyance.

Joe, a firefighter and an average… Joe. Ordinary, reliable, and the complete opposite of Mariana. They'd probably meet at one of the many fires Mariana starts… or at the vet clinic.

The last image is Mariana herself. She’s a mermaid, a veterinarian… and a pyromaniac. (More about her in the original post.)

Another suggestion was a mischievous fairy who'd be Mariana's partner in crime, but Mariana already has someone like that in her life, her fairy cousin Rosse. 😅

So… which one do you think could be her match? 👀

What kind of sim would be a good match for her?

I want to create a future partner for my sim, but my sim is not exactly… typical. If you like this sort of thing, throw your ideas at me.

Here's a bit about her.

Her name is Mariana. She is a mermaid who grew up on Deadgrass Isle in Brindleton Bay.

As a kid, an evil imaginary friend taught her how to start fires, and she once burned down 100 snowpals (that she built).

As a teen, she helped her cousin with an experiment to see if Grim Reapers could die. When everything else failed, she set the Grim Reaper on fire. (Grim Reapers are immortal, don’t worry.)

Now, as a young adult, she moved to Innisgreen and became a vet. She’s trying very hard to ignore her pyromaniac urges.

So… who do you think could keep up with this gal? What do they look like? What's their personality? I'm open to all possibilities, men, women, non-binary, occults, sad clown, Yamachan, etc.

I’ve heard of it. I’ve never questioned it. Now I cannot unsee it.

I made a doctor career cheatsheet 🥼🩺

I got way too excited after hearing the next patch will fix the doctor career. 😆

Full-size version is on my gdrive.

Fyi, while testing this cheatsheet, I had to reset the hospital bed to treat patients. I usually keep my game offline whenever there's an update, but this time I'm actually looking forward to it.

My sim was digging for his enemy’s secret and found this. My sim is Father Winter's son 😐

Sean, I know I used a voodoo doll on you, but this is a low blow.

Do your occult sims look different or the same between their human and occult forms?

I have this sim that I rarely play directly. They're a friend of one of my gen 9. Since my game settings prevent fairies from showing their fairy form outside Innisgreen, I almost never see them in their occult form.

I randomly saw them the other day and didn't recognise them at first, even though it's the same face and same hair. It got me wondering... how do y'all make your occult sims?

The Reapers and a "Scientific" Experiment

I started off this family because I wanted to play super sim challenge. Now everything is so absurd I don't know where it's going any more. 😂

The Reapers and an Evil Chicken

I cheated to make my Grimborn sim the Grim Reaper. I've been setting her up to take the role for ages. I thought about giving her the Grim Reaper outfit, but it was fun seeing all the different facial expressions during reaping.

More Greenville Family storytime if anyone's interested 😁

I made an animal treats cheatsheet 🐓🐄🦙🤠

I have a story in my legacy save involving an Evil Chicken kicking my Grim Reaper Sim’s hind, but after one sim week trying to get the Midnight Treat with no luck, I got nervous and did my research.

Full-size version is on my gdrive as usual.

Future updates and all my other cheatsheets are listed in the pinned post on my profile.

Edit: There were a few typos/cut-off text in the pic. The updated version is in the gdrive link above. Thank you for pointing them out!

I don’t know about you, but I’m always a bit clueless about how my Sims are doing in university. I’d have them "Email Professors about Progress" and never really know what the reply means.

No more! I was looking at the requirements for enrolling in a degree and found this little gem.

Link to full-size image on gdrive.

Note: Grades are calculated using lower-bound inclusive and upper-bound exclusive ranges (e.g. 60 ≤ x < 63). For readability, I label that as 60–62.
