minor rant about how Blue is perceived in the fandom

Blue is my favorite character, both of the main color gang and just in general. i think he has a lot of really fun aspects to his character and personality. He loves to cook, he's the most pacifist of the color gang and is the most emotional and sensitive, he's a mage who loves to play the role of the ranged potion spell-caster, and, yes, he does struggle with addiction. in "Animation vs. Addiction", it's played entirely serious and shows that he can be vulnerable to addictive vices.

and yet, i feel like a lot of times i see him discussed in the community it's just "haha nether wart addict! lol he's so crazy haha" which idk kinda rubs me the wrong way. i'm not saying i don't enjoy those jokes at all, like bro is clearly a stoner lmao, but there's a lot to his character and i just don't love seeing him boiled down to one running gag.

this is a very minor rant btw, like at the end of the day it's fine, just wanted to express this
